How do i keep eyeliner from smudging/coming off during the day?

My eyeliner always smudges and comes off during the day so how can i stop that. Is there a better eyeliner to use or what??How do i keep eyeliner from smudging/coming off during the day?

i usually use revloncolourstay or mebellene.they are good
Waterproof ones stay on the longest... i also find it you buy good quality such as maxfactor or rimmel, they tend to stay on longer.
try using the mac engraved eyeliner..it stays on for hours and its waterproof..you don't need to retouch.
I'd change over to a more expensive e/l... I've never had mine to smear, even in a hot kitchen, but I never buy cheap make up.

It stays on all day, even in the middle of summer when it's insanely humid.

(in Mahogany), or even MAC's Fluidlines. You can also try Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion on your lid, then line your eyes with a pencil or an eyeshadow. Whatever you use, don't touch your eye for a couple of minutes after applying to let it set, unless you plan to smudge the line on purpose.
