How can I remove eyeliner stains from my carpet and couch?

My puppy got a hold of a stick of eyeliner, and now there are are black spots everywhere on my very light beige carpet, and a huge smear down the side of my couch. Does anyone know what type of product will help get the stains out?How can I remove eyeliner stains from my carpet and couch?
